Capri Island Live, Italy

This live webcam brings you to the island of Capri, set in the Gulf of Naples in southern Italy. The camera is positioned in Anacapri, high on the slopes of Mount Solaro, offering a wide view across the bay. From here, you can see the marina below, known as Marina Grande di Capri, the island’s main tourist harbour, along with the curve of the coastline and the layered hills that shape the island’s dramatic outline. On clear days, you can spot the Sorrento Peninsula stretching across the water, with the island of Ischia further out to sea. Capri is known for its steep cliffs, clear waters, secluded beaches tucked between the cliffs, and small coves. A top natural attraction on the island is the Blue Grotto, one of the island’s best-known sights: a sea cave where sunlight turns the water an intense shade of blue, reached by small rowing boats. Fishing boats and yachts share the same waters, especially during the warmer months when the island fills with visitors, along with the other nearby islands and the Amalfi Coast, within the beautiful Italian region of Campania, long admired for its dramatic shores and historic towns. Perched on the hillside, the Hotel Caesar Augustus offers refined accommodation and sweeping views in a historic setting. Use the map below to get a closer look at the hotel and its stunning surroundings.
